Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow websites to remember your preferences and maintain your session. Similar technologies such as local storage and session storage may serve comparable functions.

Cookies we use

We use only strictly necessary cookies required for the operation of the Service. Specifically, we use session cookies issued by Supabase to authenticate you and maintain your logged-in state across page loads. Without these cookies, you cannot log in or use the dashboard. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or persistent analytics cookies that profile your behavior.

The Chrome extension

The Blotwise Chrome extension does not set or read cookies. It uses chrome.storage (local extension storage on your device) to persist configuration such as your license key and policy cache. This data never leaves your device except when synchronizing with blotwise.com to validate your license or fetch updated policies.

Third-party cookies

Our payment processor, Paddle, may set its own cookies during the checkout and subscription management process. These cookies are governed by Paddle's own privacy and cookie policy and are outside our control. We do not use any other third-party cookies on our website or dashboard.

Your choices

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting our strictly necessary session cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the Service. Because we use only essential cookies, opt-out mechanisms for tracking or advertising cookies do not apply to our Service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
